Waterscapes Northwest, LLC was founded in 2005 but we have many years of experience in landscaping. We decided to start the company that focuses on waterscaping; this allows us to concentrate our efforts on creating beautiful water features for our clients. There are many landscape contractors that also install ponds but typically they aren't using professional grade equipment and/or up to date with the latest technology and techniques in the industry. We are aquatic artists that are able to convert your vision into a reality; give us an opportunity to transform your property into a paradise oasis.
In the beginning ... When we moved into our house, I talked to a contractor about how to best design landscaping in our backyard that had a slope. He recommended installing a water feature and I was hooked. I started researching about how to design/build water features and who is the best manufacturer of pond products. I discovered Aquascape and decided I wanted to be a part of that company; filled out the registration and was approved for contractor access. For the next couple of months, I read everything I could find and talked to alot of contractors online to build my knowledge base. I went to an Advanced Pond Building class and decided to take the plunge.
After returning from that event, I went to a friend's house to tell him about my company. As soon as I walked into his house, he said, "I've got to show you something". He proceeded to tell me about a pond he was going to have built. I was just smiling and the rest is history. Our first pond was a simple design with one waterfall and around 2000 gallons (although his wife said it was a small lake). Since then, we have created many different styles of ponds and pondless waterfalls. Each water feature is unique and we try to incorporate the 'look and feel' of elements found in nature.
We use professional grade equipment and install Aquascape products (The World's #1 Water Garden Resource). We attend several training events each year to maintain proficiency and keep up to date with changes in the industry.
We are Certified Aquascape Contractors (CAC) and Certified RainXchange Professionals (CRP). CACs are some of the most qualified and informed pond builders in the water gardening industry. Of the several thousand contractors that install Aquascape products, only about 400 have earned the certification and only about 20 have earned the RainXchange certification.
Why Choose a CAC?
- Training - All CACs are trained and educated by Aquascape Inc’s
- Quality - A CACs workmanship must be approved by Aquascape Inc’s own construction crew.
- Knowledge - A CAC is knowledgeable and trained on all Aquascape Products and have the ability to answer any questions you may have with your pond.
- Customer Service - CACs must provide outstanding customer service.
- Dedication - These installers are established, dedicated companies in the Pond Building Profession.
- Continued Education - Must attend Build-A-Pond days and other pond related educational seminars through out the year.
- Team Work - CACs work closely with Aquascape and it’s distributors to ensure only the highest quality ponds are installed. All CACs must be in good standing with their distributor and Aquascape itself.
- Review Board- All CAC applicants must pass a review board of peers who review referrals, photos, required essays, and the contractor’s customer service practices. Certified Aquascape Contractors go above and beyond the competition.
